If they're looking at the world as tyrants, then it sounds to me that it's less believing about the cause and more believing in power. Still can't get over the whole slavery thing, though; seems archaic.
You need me, you just say the word. You have my sniper I've got your six.
I know, the slavery's awful. And I wish I could say it's only an Imperial thing, but it isn't. Our people are very good at ignoring injustices as long as it doesn't affect them personally. It makes me so angry.
I'd like to say things are different where I'm from, but I'd be lying. The Council doesn't even care about some of the worlds there. A number of them are lawless. I did a lot of work on one of them, but that's really all I can do. I'm only one turian.
Sounds like it's the same everywhere. The powerful only care for the powerful, and those closest to power. I really hope the Republic to come will be different. I need to believe that.
You're selling yourself short. You're only one turian, but one can make a difference. So much in my universe changed because just one person acted when nobody else did.
Yeah, it's all about doing whatever will get you the most power for them. I'd like to see it change too, but I'm not that optimistic.
I'm assuming they had a lot of support, though. I only had me. I had a squad for a bit, but one of them turned on us and brought everyone else down. I appreciate the pep talk, but it's hard to make a difference when you're limited to yourself on one planet.
I'm not being nice. I know how much damage one man can do. I've been that man often enough.
I'm not saying you can save the galaxy alone, or even a planet. But every change makes a difference. Maybe it won't make you a hero, but it paves the way for others to save the day. That's all men like you and I are supposed to do. Our actions ease the way for others.
